How to win a Trusted Service Award

Every year we celebrate the businesses who deliver excellent customer service with a Trusted Service Award. 

Here's a quick guide to what your business needs to achieve in order to qualify for a Trusted Service Award, how you can increase your chances of winning one, and more information about our new awards for 2023. 

Trusted Service Award

The Feefo Trusted Service Award is a stamp of approval for your business when it comes to delivering excellent customer service. Winning one of these awards means you’re delivering time and again for your customers, placing customer service at the forefront of your business. 

To be eligible for a Trusted Service Award in 2023, you need to have: 

  • Collected 50 or more Feefo reviews between 1 January 2021 and 31 December 2022 
  • Achieved a Feefo service rating of between 4.0 and 4.4. 

Gold Trusted Service Award

If you go above and beyond to deliver exceptional customer service, year-round, you could win a Feefo Gold Trusted Service Award. 

To be eligible for a Gold Trusted Service Award in 2023, your business must have: 

  • Collected at least 50 reviews between 1 January 2021 and 31 December 2022 
  • Achieved a Feefo service rating of at least 4.5. 

Platinum Trusted Service Award

Introduced in 2019, a Platinum Trusted Service Award is the ultimate accolade for Feefo customers. It recognises brands that continue to deliver exceptional customer service, year after year. 

To be in with a chance of winning, you must have: 

  • Collected at least 50 reviews between 1 January 2021 and 31 December 2022 
  • Achieved a Feefo service rating of at least 4.5 for three consecutive years. 

Exceptional Service Categories new for 2023 

We’re giving businesses the opportunity to go even further when it comes to delivering exceptional customer service with our new awards for 2023.

Feefo’s Exceptional Service categories are the most exclusive accolades in customer service, recognising businesses that have shown particular excellence in key customer review areas.

These awards are exclusive – there will only be one winner for small, medium and large businesses, across the following industry sectors:

  • Travel
  • Retail (brick and mortar)
  • Retail (ecommerce)
  • Hospitality and leisure
  • Business & professional services
  • Finance and insurance
  • Automotive
  • Property

There will be an additional award for businesses of any size that have demonstrated sustained progress in their provision of exceptional service.

We will award 32 Exceptional Service badges In total.

To be in with a chance of winning our new Exceptional Service categories your company must already have achieved a Trusted Service Award from Feefo, with additional criteria for each award type detailed below.

Exceptional Service – Small Business 

If you’re a small business that has continued to deliver exceptional service performance when it comes to customer reviews and best practice, you could be in with a chance of winning this new accolade for 2023. Your business must:

  • Qualify for any Trusted Service Award
  • Have a minimum service score of 4.9
  • Have no more than 50 employees.

Exceptional Service – SME 

This new award aims to recognise SME businesses for their exceptional customer reviews service and for demonstrating best practice when using Feefo reviews. To be eligible, your business must:

  • Qualify for any Trusted Service Award
  • Have a minimum service score of 4.9
  • Have between 51 and 250 employees.

Exceptional Service – Enterprise 

For our larger customers, the Exceptional Service category for enterprise businesses recognises companies with over 250 employees, which can demonstrate exceptional service performance for their customer reviews and best practice. Enterprise businesses eligible for this new award must:

  • Qualify for any Trusted Service Award
  • Have a minimum of 4.9 service score
  • Have 251 or more employees.

Exceptional Service - sustained progress

This category is for businesses of any size, across the eight previously named sectors that have made consistent improvements to their customer experience over the last three years. To be eligible, you must:

  • Qualify for any Trusted Service Award
  • Have improved your customer service rating by at least 0.1 point per year over three years, from a base score of at least 4.0.
